We support developing and enhancing life skills for participants with disabilities, including communication, social skills, decision-making, and financial management.
Examples of hypothetical situations:
Example 1: Ben, a teenager with a learning disability, seeks to improve his communication and social skills. With support from the NDIS, Ben attends social skills groups and receives one-on-one coaching from a communication specialist. Ben gains confidence in his ability to navigate social interactions and forms meaningful connections with his peers.
Example 2: Sophie, a young woman with ADHD, desires to develop effective time management and organisational skills. With support from her NDIS-funded support worker, Sophie learns strategies and techniques to prioritise tasks and manage her schedule effectively. Sophie feels empowered and in control of her daily routines, allowing her to confidently achieve her goals and aspirations.
