Group and Centre Activities

We offer participation in group-based activities and programs organised by community centres or service providers tailored to the needs of participants with disabilities.

Examples of hypothetical situations:

Example 1: Noah, a young man with autism, enjoys participating in group activities at a local community centre. With support from the NDIS, Noah joins a social club where he receives encouragement and assistance from his peers and mentors. Noah feels a sense of belonging and connection as he engages in recreational activities and forms friendships within the group.

Example 2: Lily, a young woman with a developmental disability, seeks opportunities to develop her social skills and connect with others in her community. With support from her NDIS-funded support worker, Lily joins a local drama group where she receives coaching and encouragement from her fellow actors and directors. Lily feels a sense of pride and accomplishment as she performs on stage and forms meaningful connections with her peers.
